Practice what you preach

Having just gone thru "buyer's remorse" and 1st time home owner's depression, my wife and I are re-learning old lessons. Specifically, changing circumstances doesn't fix anything. We have been waiting for this to happen or that to happen. Or, maybe if this were different, things would be better. I remember saying that in re: if only we were in a house instead of an apartment. Riiight.

So, just battling a little irony. I've given counsel and advice to quite a few people that changing circumstances is like changing socks: you still have the same feet.

Sigh.
