Israel, minor miracles list
I have been remembering our little list of encouragers from the Boss:
1. Admission into school: my undergrad GPA barely qualified me for admission into school. Got in w/out any fuss that I'm aware of.
2. And connected to that: my reception of a scholarship.
3. Here in Okie-land, there's a lot of trouble in getting passports. Lots of delays and apparent inability of the passport agency to get off their duffs. When Mrs. KJ and I got hitched, we mailed in her passport for "editing". It got lost in the mail. So, we reapplied for a new one. We were told that it could take months to get it. Perhaps not even in time to use it. We got it in about a week and a half.
4. With the exception of one person, really, we've had nothing but total support from those we've told about this opportunity. People have been excited, jealous, pumped, and actually joyous.
5. We put our house on the market just this past week (either Mon/Tues/Wed). We've had an offer for full price already. Plus, closing time looks to be the end of July so that we'd "homeless" for only about 2 weeks. And, we'd make a few bucks too. This, after our goal was simply to break even.
God is good.
KJ
