Resolve

What kind of resolve do I have? Usually, I have the resolve to sit on my butt and allow life to wash over me and then furrow my brow and complain about it. I allow tend to resolve to take as little risk and as little effort as possible in order to assure my maximum "safety" and "comfort". Yet, I find myself irritable, dissatisfied, and bored with my entertainments. I believe that it is because, surprise-surprise, I have lived. I'm not sure that I've even existed. I've just purposed to survive an 8 hour beast of a shift at the All-Consuming Coffee place. I've purposed to make until Saturday and try to find the OU game on TV. Pretty shallow purposes.

I have many higher goals and reasons, but old habits and fears often win out. There are glimmers of hope though. The One who Is fights alongside me and ground is being recovered. What that territory will look like, in even a month, only the One knows.

On other random notes: read the novelization of Episode III. It really adds depth to Anakin, which of course, Lucas failed to give, seeing as Anakin is the central figure in the story. Dork.

The soundtrack to Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World is totally outstanding.
